The Department of Family Medicine strives to advance knowledge in family and community medicine and to develop methods of primary care that are effective, efficient and accessible to all people. Its clinical activities are prolific and dedicated to comprehensive patient care. The faculty of the department utilizes five major hospitals and medical centers, making good use of the rich mix of specialists and advanced technology available to the medical school.
