Description of fellowship:
This ACGME approved fellowship provides a clinical experience from which evolves
opportunity for teaching at the professional and lay levels, developing research,
participating in advocacy and policy development and elective opportunity for project
development.
Clinical experiences are tailored to expose the trainee to adolescents in a variety of
medical and health related experiences - hospital based, homeless/high risk clinics,
school based/university based clinics, foster placement etc. Research is mentored
thru a committee approach and projects draw upon the rich clinical materials of the
Division. The program welcomes applicant from pediatrics, (3 yrs) med/peds/ internal
medicine (2-3 yrs) and for family practice (2 yrs).
