Doctor of Medicine The Keck School of Medicine awards the
Doctor of Medicine degree to enrolled students who have satisfactorily
completed the four-year curriculum of the school. This curriculum
integrates instruction in all departments
of the School.
The newly revised curriculum is designed to enhance the students
understanding of the basic sciences and their relevance to clinical
medicine. The methodology used improves students problem-solving
and independent study skills. Curriculum themes are delivered in
a case-centered format with the integration of small-group learning
sessions, directed independent study and newer instructional technologies
emphasized.
