The research institutes of the Keck School of Medicine provide a place for in-depth, integrative studies of genetics, cancer, pediatric disease, neurogenetics and disease prevention. The institutes attract outstanding researchers interested in solving complex problems of biomedicine.

Defined both by a physical space and research vision, institutes create intellectual, dynamic atmospheres that encourage the free exchange of ideas among faculty and students so key to innovation in science. Institutes foster discovery as well as the development of novel theories and approaches. The institutes are home to some of the Keck’s most high-profile scientists and clinicians.

Eli & Edythe Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at USC»
Founded in 2006, the Center is part of the university's strategy to take stem cell research developed in the university's laboratories and integrate it directly into therapeutic focus areas founded on outstanding clinical research programs at the Keck School of Medicine.
